  Richard has made several pieces of furniture for me and each has been exactly what was needed for the function, aesthetics and space. Each piece is a work of art, absolutely beautiful. Custom furniture is a joy to have and especially fun when creating it with Virginia Mountain Woodworks. This picture is of a desk Richard made which resides in my Art Deco style apartment in Winston Salem, NC.

  I really enjoyed working with Richard and Judy on a client's project. They sent me photos of two bar chairs in leather that they saw in NY. Asked me if I "Had a Guy" who could do custom make the chairs. Just had been in touch with me for about 2 years, and I told her when I had a project, I'd let them know. Serendipity waved her wand, and the time arrived. These chairs are in figurative walnut, and the fabric I found pulls colors in the room and is in velvet. This photo is was taken in my upholsterere guy's shop. Not only was I excited by the final product. My clients absolutely love how they turned out! I will continue to use VA Mountain Woodworks.
